To work out the total cost of your new floor, the first step is to calculate the size of the areas that need flooring. This is done by measuring the area of each room in square metres (m²). Examples: Rectangular rooms: Simply multiply the length by the width. L-shaped rooms, alcoves, or bay windows: Break the space into smaller rectangular sections. Calculate each section separately, then add them together to get the total m². Once you have your total, add 10% extra to allow for installation wastage, cuts, and fitting. 👉 The easiest way is to multiply your total m² by 1.10. This final number is the quantity you’ll need to order for your project.

Understanding Pack Sizes & Flooring Quantities All our flooring products are sold by the nearest full pack (box). Each product listing is already calculated to the correct pack size when you enter your required quantity. Example: Price: $46.95 per m² for 9mm Hybrid Waterproof Flooring Pack size: 1 pack = 1.6416 m² (4 boards per pack) How to calculate pack price: $46.95 (per m²) × 1.6416 m² (pack size) = $77.07 per pack How to calculate what you need Example: 100 m² floor space Divide total area by pack size: 100 m² ÷ 1.6416 m² = 60.91 packs Round up to the next full pack: = 61 packs required Total coverage: 61 packs × 1.6416 m² = 100.14 m² of flooring 👉 Always round up to ensure you have enough material.

We display pricing per m² for easy comparison, but all flooring is sold in full packs (boxes). For example: If the price is $46.95 per m² and each pack covers 1.6416 m² (4 boards per pack), the pack price is $77.07. To cover 100 m²: 100 ÷ 1.6416 = 60.91 packs → rounded up to 61 packs. This provides 100.14 m² of flooring. At checkout, your quantity will display as 61 packs, not 100 m².

How It Works: For pallets or larger items, delivery can be arranged to the nearest depot to your home or business. Once your shipment arrives at the depot, you’ll receive tracking details and can collect it at your convenience. To finalise your order, our team will issue an official quote or invoice via email for payment and confirmation.

After measuring the total sqm's of the area you require new flooring for, add a further 10% wastage to the total area space to allow for waste, cuts & fitment of the new flooring. Allow 15%-20% for Herringbone & Chevron. Example Area size calculated at 90sqm + 10% wastage = 99sqm of flooring required.
