2. Key Commercial Terms

By purchasing from our Site, you agree that:

  1. You are responsible for reading the full product listing before making a purchase.

  2. A legally binding contract is formed once you complete checkout and payment.

  3. Prices are displayed in Australian dollars (AUD), inclusive of GST.

  4. Imperial Flooring Australia Pty Ltd reserves the right to change prices or correct pricing errors at any time.

3. Returns & Refunds Policy

3.1 General Returns

  • Returns must be made within 30 days of purchase.

  • Items must be unused, in original packaging, and in re-sellable condition.

  • A 15% restocking fee may apply for eligible returns.

3.2 Refunds

  • Full refunds are only available for faulty or defective products.

  • Change of mind purchases are not refundable.

  • Refunds will be processed back to the original payment method once goods are inspected and approved.

3.3 Exclusions

  • Sale or clearance items are not eligible for refund.

  • Pre-fabricated stair nosings are strictly non-refundable once manufactured.

  • Extra material purchased but not used cannot be returned.

3.4 Exchanges

  • Exchanges are only offered for defective or damaged items.

3.5 Process for Returns/Refunds

  2. Provide your invoice number for verification.

  3. Return goods to: 1 Kennedy Ave, Yallah NSW 2530 (Wollongong).

    • Return shipping costs are the customer’s responsibility.

    • Shipping costs are non-refundable.

4. Transaction Fees

Transaction fees charged by third-party providers (e.g., PayPal, Afterpay, Square) are non-refundable.

5. Engineered Timber Flooring Disclaimer

  • Engineered timber is a natural product and will vary in colour, texture, and grain.

  • Samples, photographs, or displays are for guidance only.

  • Natural imperfections such as knots, mineral streaks, minor splits, and colour variations are not defects.

  • Timber may change in appearance over time due to UV exposure and moisture.

  • These characteristics are inherent to real wood flooring and should be expected.

6. Pricing & Errors

We reserve the right to correct pricing or product information errors.

  • If an error is identified before shipment, we may cancel or amend the order.

  • If we cannot contact you within one business day, your order will be cancelled and refunded.

  • If an error is found after dispatch, we reserve the right to recall the product at no cost to you, and process a refund.

7. Warranties & Consumer Rights

  • All products are covered by guarantees under the Australian Consumer Law which cannot be excluded.

  • Please check shipment quantities upon receipt. Discrepancies must be reported within 7 days.

  • Warranty claims require proof of purchase (invoice/receipt).

  • Some warranty claims may be referred directly to the product manufacturer.

Important:
Imperial Flooring Australia Pty Ltd is not liable for faulty or negligent installation performed by the customer or independent installers not approved by us.

8. Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law:

  • Imperial Flooring Australia Pty Ltd is not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages (including loss of profits, goodwill, or data).

  • Nothing in these Terms excludes, restricts, or modifies your rights under the Australian Consumer Law.

9. Amendments

We may update these Terms where:
(a) required to comply with law or regulation, or
(b) necessary to correct errors or omissions (provided they do not materially affect the contract).

10. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of New South Wales, Australia.
