Product Overview:
Cemimax DL59 is a cement-based levelling compound with very high compressive strength (C40), ideal for high-traffic, heavy-wear locations. It can also be used as an overlay for polished concrete finishes. DL59 is suitable for a wide range of applications, including indoor and outdoor areas, and can be applied on concrete, tiles, screed, plywood, and timber subfloors, including wet areas.

Subfloor Preparation:
Ensure the substrate is sound, dry, clean, and free from cracks or materials that impair adhesion
Test substrate according to applicable standards and report deficiencies
Brush, abrade, grind, or shot-blast weak areas
Vacuum thoroughly to remove loose material and dust
Apply a suitable Cemimax primer based on subfloor type and allow to dry completely
 
 
Application Instructions:
Pour 4–4.4 litres of cold, clean water into a container. Gradually sprinkle in the 20kg bag contents while stirring briskly to form a lump-free, thick-fluid consistency. Use a drill or mixer with a paddle attachment. Do not mix too thinly.
Pour mixture onto the area and spread uniformly to the required thickness using a toothed rake. Remove entrapped air with a particle roller if needed.
Drying Time: At 20°C, approx. 24 hours. Sanding with 40–60 grit paper improves surface quality and absorbency. Poor airflow or lower temperatures may extend drying times.
